UGC rate card and pitch template (PDF)

Price a base UGC video, then add usage rights, whitelisting, hooks, raw footage and exclusivity on top. Includes a short pitch email.

One email with the file. No list, no follow-ups.

Both templates are one page, so a brand can read either one on a single screen. Fill in your own numbers, lay them out in whatever tool you like, and send them as a PDF link in your pitch.

The Media Kit Template

The media kit template covers the five blocks brands look for: a one-line pitch, audience numbers with screenshots, proof of past work, what you offer, and how to reach you. If you would rather fill it in on screen, the media kit builder writes the text for you and calculates your engagement rate.

The UGC Rate Card and Pitch Template

The rate card starts with base deliverables, then lists every add-on brands try to get for free: extra hooks, raw footage, paid usage rights for 30, 90 days or longer, whitelisting, exclusivity and rush delivery. It also includes a short pitch email. There is no official UGC rate. One marketplace’s 2026 benchmark put a single video around $150 to $212, and how much UGC creators make explains how to set your own numbers.

How to Use the Templates

  1. Fill in the template with real numbers from the last 30 or 90 days.
  2. Lay it out on one page with one photo and three links to your best work.
  3. Export to PDF, upload it somewhere stable, and link it from your bio and your pitch emails.
  4. Update it every month or after any campaign with a strong result.

What to Leave Off Both Templates

Leave out vanity numbers you cannot back up, such as lifetime views from a single viral video or follower counts from an account you no longer post on. Brands can compare those numbers with your public profile. Leave out rates you would not accept, because a brand will happily take the lowest number on the page. And never list a brand you have not worked with as a past client. A spec ad is fine, as long as it is labelled as one.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a media kit and a rate card?

A media kit shows who you are, who your audience is and what you have made. A rate card lists prices for each deliverable and add-on. Many creators keep rates off the media kit and send them when a brand asks, so the first conversation is about fit before price.

Do UGC creators need a media kit?

Not usually. UGC buyers judge your videos more than your audience size, so a portfolio and a rate card matter more. Influencers selling posts on their own accounts need the media kit.

Why do you ask for my email?

So the shared download service can send you the file link. The service keeps your email with the request, and you get one email with the file and no follow-ups.
